De Hoogstraat has over 40 years of experience in the field of prosthetic arms. De Hoogstraat has been designated as a center of expertise by a large group of health insurers for the guidance and treatment of people with a congenital disorder or amputation of an arm or hand.
Hand and arm Team
In the Hand and arm Team for Adults (HWV), we offer the expertise of specialized doctors, therapists, technicians, and orthopedic instrument makers all in one location. This ensures you receive treatment based on the latest knowledge, including in the areas of technology and innovation. This expertise is further enhanced through collaboration with TU Delft and UMC Groningen. The adult working group works closely with the team for children.
